10 of the 12 winners of the inaugural 2017 Harbor Freight Tools for Schools Prize for Teaching Excellence accepted our invitation to join together in Los Angeles to imagine and channel ideas that could dramatically improve this vital education sector. Meeting for the first time, these teachers developed a lively network, shared their practices and a cumulative 250 years of teaching and industry experience. They took starting steps on projects they developed, turned challenges in the sector into opportunities, and had hard fun throughout, including hands-on experimentation with new lines of tools.
